Weather Policy

The decision to cancel Hebron Baptist Church activities due to weather conditions will be handled as follows:

The decision to cancel church activities will be made by the Pastor and the Chairman of the Deacons. They may seek the advice and concurrence of additional individuals as they deem appropriate.

All cancellation decisions will be made and communicated to the church office assistant, Sunday School Director, HBC Webminister, and other appropriate individuals involved in the planning and directing of the activity no less than 2 hours prior to the scheduled activity.

The office assistant will update the church telephone answering machine message indicating the cancellation as well as notifying the local TV stations of the cancellation. The HBC Webminister will place the cancellation notice on the church web home page. In the case of canceling of Sunday School, the Sunday School director will inform the Sunday School Teachers of the cancellation.
