Shawn Dobbins, Senior Pastor
Pastor Shawn was called as Pastor in July 2013 after serving churches in his home state of Virginia. He earned a B.S. in Physical Education at Roanoke College; Master of Divinity, with languages at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary; and a Doctorate of Ministry in Church Revitalization at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Sarah, are blessed with Franklin, Isabella, Parker, and a dog Jeter. They are rabid fans of the University of Virginia, Philadelphia Eagles, and the New York Yankees. They also cheer on the local teams UK, Cincinnati and Bengals & Reds.

Mark Whitaker, Pastor of Worship and Missions
Mark was raised in Bowling Green, KY and has a passion for the church to be on mission and he is a gifted musician. He joined the HBC staff in 2017 after serving at local churches in Kentucky and Alabama. Mark graduated from Campbellsville University with a Bachelor's of Music concentrating in Church Music. He also graduated with a Masters of Divinity in Church Ministry at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mark and his wife, Wendy, have four children Sarah, Liam, Joshua, and Ezekiel.

Allen Greene, Pastor of College, and Young Adult Ministries
Allen grew up just north of Cincinnati, attending Lakota West High School. In 2011 he graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a B.S. in Industrial Design and in 2019 he received his Masters of Divinity at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition to serving at HBC, Allen serves as a designer at Answers in Genesis. Allen loves spending time with his wife, Heather, and three sweet children Asher, Hadley, and Ezra.

Christy Reed, Director of Children's Ministries
Christy Reed received a Bachelor of Arts in Education (K-8) from the University of Kentucky, a Master's of Arts in Elementary Education from Morehead State University in Morehead, KY. She previously taught in Christian schools and as a Librarian. Her husband, Scott, is a teacher and they have 2 kids: Conner and Quinn.

Curtis Ponder, Director of Student Ministries
Curtis Ponder received a Bachelor of Science in Humanities, Biblical Counseling from Boyce College in Louisville, KY.. He loves the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He and his wife, Bailey, live in Elsmere, KY with their son, James.

Kaye Boots, Administrative Assistant
Kaye is a Kentucky native and has served as the administrative assistant/financial secretary at Hebron Baptist Church since October, 2001. She graduated Georgetown College with a degree in mathematics and taught math at Conner Middle School for 28 years. She and her husband, Mason, have been members since 1966 and have two daughters and two granddaughters.

Terri Bungenstock, Director of CrossRoads Preschool
Terri graduated from NKU with a BA in English Literature. After many years in the corporate world, she discovered that going to preschool every day is what she was called to do.
